Haringey Council asks what you think about your pharmacies

Haringey Council has been delegated responsibility from the Haringey Health and Wellbeing Board to undertake a Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment.
The Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA) will look at:
- health needs in Haringey
- the level and accessibility of pharmacy services
- how these will be maintained and developed in the future
The survey should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete. The information you provide is confidential.
The survey will close on Friday 11 April 2025.
Deal reached to provide extra funding for pharmacies
On 31 March the Department of Health and Social Care reached an agreement with Community Pharmacy England to provide an additional £617 million for pharmacy services over two years.
Emergency hormonal contraception, also known as the 'morning after pill', will now be available for free at every NHS pharmacy, replacing the previous system, which saw some women charged as much as £30.
The contract will also make it easier for pharmacies to change the timing of their core opening hours.
