What do you know about Long-Acting Reversible Contraception?

We have been working with Haringey Public Health Team and Public Voice to design a survey about Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC)

We also worked with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust.

We want to understand what people know about LARC and any barriers to the use of LARC in Haringey amongst different communities.

LARCs are highly effective methods of birth control and menstrual care, which don't need to be remembered every day. They can last between two months and 10 years, depending on the option used. They may come in the form of injections, implants, or devices which are placed in your womb (uterus).

Long-Acting Reversible Contraception survey

The LARC survey is available in 18 languages and should take around five minutes to answer.

To participate you must be:

A resident of Haringey at the time of completion or were a Haringey resident when using LARC services
A potential service user of LARC services (this can include anyone with a uterus. This could include cisgender women / girls, transgender and non-binary people).
