COVID-19 has impacted many people’s health, income, job security and social interactions. This report explores the impact on Turkish and Kurdish communities, looking at the social and economic barriers, and health inequalities during lockdown.

We surveyed Haringey care home managers and asked how care homes are coping with Covid-19. Do they feel supported and can they access the basics they need to provide a good quality of care?

Healthwatch Haringey continued to make sure the patient voice was load and clear this year through all the changes we faced, including the abolition of Haringey Clinical Commissioning Group and the challenge of Covid-19.

North London Partners in Health and Care are currently reviewing the way in which planned operations for bones and joints, such as hip and knee replacements, are delivered.

In July 2018, we held two events – one in Wood Green and one in Tottenham – for North Middlesex Hospital patients and Haringey residents to come and share their thoughts on what direction North Mid might take in future.

Over the past year 1456 people told us what matters most to them about health and social care, helping us to inform services about the improvements that people would like to see.

This report and the research which informed its findings was done as part of a programme of engagement on the North London Partners Urgent and Emergency Care programme in collaboration with five local Healthwatch in the North London area.
