About this event
Islamophobia Awareness Month is an important opportunity to show solidarity with our Muslim communities in Haringey.
Following the far-right riots nationwide this summer and amid reports of rising Islamophobia in the UK, November gives us all a chance to educate ourselves about the many ways that such racial or religious bigotry, discrimination and prejudice manifests in our society.
The Leader of Haringey Council, Cllr Peray Ahmet, reasserts in a YouTube video that there’s no place for Islamophobia here in our borough, with a zero-tolerance approach to any form of hate crime or racism.
